install my favourite firefox addons

with one comment

I wrote a script that downloads and installs my favourite Firefox addons.

#!/bin/bash
#script to install my favourite firefox addons

MYADDONS="26 139 240 748 918 2410 3439 3053 4810 5457 5791"
#26 = download statusbar
#139 = image zoom
#240 = context search
#748 = greasemonkey
#918 = gtranslate
#2410 = xmarks
#3439 = greek spellchecking
#3053 = dizionario italiano
#4810 = speed dial
#5457 = shareaholic
#5791 = flagfox

LOCALDIR="/tmp/myaddons"

for i in $MYADDONS
do
 MYURL=https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/downloads/latest/$i/addon-$i-latest.xpi
 wget -N -P $LOCALDIR $MYURL
done

echo "All addons downloaded to $LOCALDIR. Now, please run 'firefox $LOCALDIR/*.xpi' to install them."

Just modify the MYADDONS= line to fit your preferences.
