gnome-system-log can’t find files

Log files tend to accumulate under /var/log. But if you delete the older ones without removing them from gnome-system-log’s list of logfiles to watch, it will complain about them every time you start it. So just run gconf-editor /apps/gnome-system-log/logfiles and remove the respective entries.
