Trash-cli

leave a comment »

Normally it is not possible to restore files or folders that you have removed with the rm command. In order to enable a functionality similar to the Trash Can / Recycle Bin, install the trash-cli package and add the following alias into your ~/.bash_aliases file: alias rm=’trash’

The following commands allow you to list the contents of the trash can, to restore a deleted file or folder, and to empty the trash can: list-trash, restore-trash, empty-trash
